Option 1: Custom History and Cultural Session

Work with you, your family or friends to prepare for a trip to Italy (or help you decide if you want to go!).  Enhance your experience by understanding the historical significance of popular and off the beaten track tourist attractions.  Ideally, we work on 60 - 90 minute sessions and agree to a topic, which I will come fully prepared for (and sometimes with a movie to watch or research to do before hand).  

For example, we can 

• cook an Italian meal like Carbonara Pasta and learn about Italian Culture and relationships with food

• learn how and why to talk with your hands

• do a deep dive on football (english translation to soccer)

• review Cinema (Neorealism or contemporary movies)

• Talk about history through a movie like Life Is Beautiful or La Meglio Gioventu

 

$100 - $125 per hour (includes all preparation)

 

 

Option 2: A Series

Let’s make a series and get to learn about Italian history, culture, geography, art and cinema over the course of several sessions.

 

$60 per hour if 3 of more sessions booked
